| Biography: It is written she has the “it” factor. Her sexy lyrics and style over shadowed her true talent as a songwriter, singer and vocal arranger. Disconnected from the spirit’s intention for her, Maxine was on a treadmill of life, full of passionate intentions.
Born and raised in Toronto, Canada this budding superstar knew for 29 years that music would play a major role in her purpose. She relocated to Atlanta to pursue her musical career but lost her focus and began singing and performing songs that did not reflect her inner soul. She continued ignoring the inner voice instructing her that her talents were to uplift the kingdom and accepted opportunities that pulled her further and further away from God.
Not connected to God Maxine sought out gigs that lead her to open up for the funk masters, ‘Parliament’ at the V103 sponsored ‘Pontiac Soul Food and Music Fest’. She was featured in various publications such as ‘New York’s Aquarian Weekly’ and her independent single debuted on Atlanta’s Hot 107.9FM, Dig it or Dish it. Pepsi Amp Energy Drink launched her 1st single on their radio commercial that launched to over 350 college radio stations but Maxine in the midst of all this, felt alone and lost.
Today she is no longer in control of her life; she has surrendered to God and rejoices because she is re-connected with the spirit. Her pain and joy is displayed in her songs as she encourages other kingdom citizens no matter how far you think you have strayed from God, he still has a divine purpose for you.
