Biography: Bio - The Lumpford Singers
The Lumpford Singers, a family gospel group, hails from Atlanta, Georgia. Many have expressed that the song’s message is comforting and spirit-filled. It generates a “spiritual high.”
We have just released our “I Can’t Even Walk Without You Holding My Hand” album and currently ministering in song in the Atlanta Metropolitan area.
Our group, the Lumpford Singers, were formed because of our mother’s request. While our mother was on her sick bed, she requested that I sing this song at her funeral. She had found this song to have comforting effects. Prior to our group, the Lumpford Singers; we regularly blended our voices together in the church choir. In addition, it has always been a joy for the group at family gatherings to give impromptu selections. I, Leonard, the lead singer have always had a love of gospel music and wrote a solo song, “I Need You Jesus.” Together, the group was instrumental in providing additional lyrics and accompaniments in the release song.
Our greater goal is to take this message of comfort all over the world through song that someone will be blessed and uplifted. As the Lord admonished: “Go teach all nations. . .”
