"I am obsessed with writing. In one way or another I manage to incorporate writing into every part of my life. Writing prayers, songs, notes, letters, journals (top secret and for the public eye), random thoughts - I write them all down. Writing helps me to organize my thoughts and figure things out. I was doing a lot of "figuring out" when I wrote the songs on this record. Each song is a story, a continuing transcript of the life of Katie Workman.
